ADAS are technically mature. They’re widely available.
But real-world safety impact depends on more than capability.
From April to December 2025, IFM - Institute for Driving Assistance and Connected Mobility and MdynamiX conducted a commissioned study for Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) Region I to assess the measurable safety contribution of existing ADAS – KPI-based and data-driven – and to derive policy recommendations.
Our analysis combined:
• A structured literature review
• Evaluation of public datasets
• A European customer survey with 13,000+ participants in 6+ countries
This is a very interesting analysis result. I would like everyone to take a look at it.
